Caribou Coffee

Latitude created Caribou Coffee’s 2024 summer campaign: Dream Date, a dating show to market Caribou’s summer fruit shakers and energy drinks. This campaign stemmed from the concept of “Real Dreamy,” which highlights the surreal qualities of Caribou’s products that are made with real ingredients.

As a designer under this campaign, I had the opportunity to create a variety of exciting assets and develop extensive knowledge of the brand campaign process. I enjoyed learning through every aspect of this process, from digging into the narrative of the brand, creating a revised visual brief, and developing big ideas to break through the noise.

In July, Caribou wanted to promote a new energy drink flavor every week. I designed graphics to promote Caribou’s new line of energy drinks on Snapchat and Tiktok, using images from our product photoshoot and Dream Date illustrations. I helped transform the static graphics into video content for Tiktok, attempting to mimic the native green screen content created by influencers on the app.

I also had the opportunity to create Caribou’s Dream Date in a Box: a special giveaway box to be promoted by Caribou influencers. I used our Dream Date assets to design the box, and I curated the various date items to fill the inside the box. I created a different theme for each Date in a Box, including “Create Memories.” This theme called for custom scrapbook paper to be paired with a polaroid camera, scrapbook, and Caribou Coffee products. These scrapbook paper patterns can be found at the bottom of this page.
