Pepsico

In 2021, I interned at Pepsico on the MTN Dew team. This internship was a very exciting opportunity for me to develop a thorough understanding of illustration, packaging, and marketing.

At the time of my internship, MTN Dew was about to launch their new flavor packaging with unique mascots to represent each flavor. For example, Voltage features a mad scientist and Major Melon features a watermelon military general. My task was to present a direction for custom merchandise that would theoretically be sold on the MTN Dew website. For my direction, I wanted to focus on the dedicated fanbase behind each flavor. Since this fanbase reminded me of a sports team, I created a new logo lockup for each flavor that resembles a sports team logo. I then paired each logo with athletic merchandise.
